About Rolling Stone Ministries

An angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it… The angel said, "...He is not here; He has risen."

Matthew 28:2, 5-6

John and Laurie Stewart have a vision for presenting an intelligent Christian faith in an increasingly-secular world. Both have been serving others in a variety of ways for a number of years through teaching, legal advocacy, speaking, and writing.   In 2007, they founded Rolling Stone Ministries to expand their work.  The rolling stone represents the mechanism by which evidence confirmed that Jesus is the Savior.[1]

John and Laurie StewartThe purpose of RSM:

  • TEACH biblical truth
  • TRAIN Christian leaders, church planters and evangelists
  • DEFEND the Christian faith intelligently
  • STRENGTHEN the faith of believers
  • CONFRONT secular attacks on the Christian Faith
  • ENGAGE the culture with the truth of Scripture
  • ADVOCATE for religious freedom

John and Laurie are committed to defending and proclaiming biblical truth. Internationally, they teach and speak at universities, Bible institutes, churches and conferences. Nationally, they speak at law schools, conferences, churches, retreats, camps and other groups. Additionally, they use their legal skills as attorneys to defend civil and religious liberties. They face the challenges, head-on, of a growing secular culture, and are on the cutting edge of winning the culture back to a biblical truth.

RSM’s website is a communication tool for John and Laurie to keep people informed about “cutting edge” issues and current events.

In His infinite wisdom, God continues to grow the possibilities for RSM every day. John and Laurie Stewart desire to bring Him glory.

[1] During his life on earth, Jesus claimed to be God in the flesh and predicted He would be raised from the dead. After He was crucified and buried, on the third day, the burial stone rolled away from Jesus’ tomb, revealing its emptiness. The empty tomb is clear evidence that Jesus was who He claimed to be, the Christ.
