India 2010 Mission

We leave for India in February, 2010, flying non-stop to Dubai, then on to Delhi, India. Our first stop is with a man we met last year in Chennai (Madras) in southern India. He has many legal professionals in his family (his wife is taking an exam to become a judge, and her father is a lawyer). We hope to set up meetings with other Christian legal professionals to discuss how legal professionals can fulfill what Micah the prophet wrote: “And what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and walk humbly with your God” (Micah 6:8).

Our teaching in India brings us to the northwest India province of Rajasthan, which borders Pakistan. One of the prominent cities of Rajasthan is Jaipur, a very old city that is one of the oldest in the world to master plan its roads, making them wide enough to accommodate travel for hundreds of years into the future, even after the rise of the automobile. In Jaipur is a training center for the main campus of the Institute in Chennai where we visited last year. Laurie and I will be teaching two groups of pastors and their wives, about 50 at a time.

Because of the unrest in India, and the persecution of Christians, we are not providing specific dates, places, and people we are visiting. We will be telling you in person  or through our emails the details of our 2010 mission to India. We ask for your prayers for open doors, for effectiveness and for safety during our journey. Thanks for your partnership with Rolling Stone Ministries.
